Montessori is not just a method of education…
It’s a way of life that is accessible, flexible, and adaptable.
What children learn in our classrooms can be taken and applied at home and into their lives as they grow.
Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as cognitive preparation.

Elementary students + indoor recess + access to all indoor equipment = creative use of equipment and space for a ball pit
Isn't it amazing what children can create when given the time and opportunity?

Many people think of learning as formal instruction that happens in the classroom. But for children, learning happens when they play and do things in any location.
Learning at home is just as important as learning in the classroom. A great place for children to help out is in the kitchen. Children as young as toddlers can help with setting the table, pouring a drink, sweeping, washing the dishes or serving a snack.

Our goal as parents and educators is to have children learn to do things on their own. To move from dependence to independence. Showing them how to do things is the start of reaching this goal.
